CSR Sustain Works With Honeywell to Drive Energy Efficiency in Transport for London’s Commercial Portfolio

In 2015, CSR Sustain were contracted by Honeywell to carry out a comprehensive programme of energy surveys, and issue compliance certificates, for Transport for London’s (TfL) property portfolio.

With their portfolio spanning across 22 commercial buildings and exceeding 100,000 m2 of total floor area, the project aimed at benchmarking and improving energy performance within a stringent timeframe.

Employing advanced techniques such as CAD building modelling, our team meticulously calculated building fabric areas and volumes together with the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) assessments. We then benchmarked these properties against current building regulations, delivering a comprehensive set of reports with strategic recommendations.

Despite the tight schedule, we successfully completed the physical surveys within the one-month timeframe and budget. The quality of statistical insights and overall reporting surpassed client expectations, and the outcome showcased not only compliance but a substantial leap in energy efficiency and operational optimisation, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and superior energy performance.
